I am not in your area but I suggest Democrats focus on regional economic development strategies. Yes there is competition but also each area has their own ability to keep regional dollars within our communities and should look toward this strategy. Economies in the future may not be as 'global' or far fetched as we all once thought. Deepening our roots, adding local ingenuity and collaboration to create liveable solutions. You might call this a homesteading mentality if you will. Good Luck !

Totally agree! I also believe that every time our elected officials decide to commit our troops to battle that it automatically triggers the re-implementation of the "draft". If it's worth our "blood and treasure" then every mothers son, or daughter, ought to be in the mix. Rousseau believed, that it should be the right and privilege of every citizen to participate to the defense of the whole society and a mark of moral decline to leave this business to professionals. I agree!

Charlie, I'm very happy that you are running for this office. Your back-ground in the Tampabay community, along with your views on family values, healthcare and education are right on target. Keep-up the good work. I will be very proud to sponsor your campaign and give you my full support going forward. Good luck Charlie!

I think that your issue positions are right on target. As a professor of political science for 36 years, I really appreciate how you came into government through Professor Lars Hafner's campaign and worked your way up, always battling the privileged special interests on behalf of your constituents.

Charlie- So glad to read this, you obviously know the "reality" of the daily FL citizen and are willing to fight for it. We have so much to worry about-jobs, school issues (teachers getting fired, the decline of the family unit, funding, ...) house values, etc... and I am so happy to see one of my own running for congress. Please know you have our support---Laura Cocke

Though I no longer live in Florida, I grew up in Florida's 11th Congressional District. I went to Bauder, Seminole Middle and Seminole High here and became an Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 340 in Seminole/Madeira Beach area. I look forward to seeing Charlie win this one!

Dear Senator Justice, I am very impressed with your service statement while you serve as Senator in the 16th District. With our ever increasing college tuitions, your statement to stay in touch and stay in tune with the Moms,Dads, grandparents, school children, college students and professors who just want to earn their part of the American Dream without being cheated has captured my attention. My Dream is as such. I look forward to meeting with your staff and supporting your run for Congress.

Charlie, You mentioned seniors worried about their retirement. How many have seen their IRAs, their savings, and their retirement security eroded by the dishonesty and bad faith of bankers and hedge funds? For every victim of Madoff, there are thousands who played by the rules, only to see their savings evaporate. Now, we are told to "bail out wall street or else." What we need now is ECONOMIC JUSTICE for the middle class and for seniors. Reform the tax system and the Federal Reserve.
